Who we are
We are a loving group of Jesus followers who are called and committed to Living By Faith, Loving Like Christ and Learning To Serve those around us. We believe church shouldn’t be complicated so these three statements guide our church. We are also connected to a global network of churches called The Church Of The Nazarene. We believe in one God, the Creator of all things, who reveals himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in Jesus Christ, who is fully God and fully man at the same time. Humbly, He became like us to redeem and restore us to a right relationship with God. He is the only way to God the Father.
We believe the Holy Spirit empowers and equips all believers to live holy lives. The Spirit of the living God moves within us so that we may be the visible presence of an invisible God in our world.
We believe that the Bible is the living Word of God. We stand on the promises of His Word and refuse to water down His message.
We believe sin separates us from God. In our own strength we can do nothing to fix the problem of sin. However, through the love and grace of God by the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus, the sins of all Christ followers are washed away.
We believe that the church is the Body of Christ, carrying out His mission and advancing His kingdom in the world through the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that baptism is an outward expression of the inward decision to make Jesus Lord of your life. Baptism is not only an act of obedience but it is also a celebration of a transformed life.
We believe that prayer is foundational for every Christ follower. Prayer is essential to connecting us to the heart of God. As we grow deeper in our connection with God through prayer He moves in our lives and in our world.
We believe that we are better together. Generosity is an attitude that puts others and God’s kingdom before self. Generosity with our financial resources demonstrates our trust in God, our gratitude toward His provision, and it demonstrates our desire to be a part of advancing His kingdom.
We believe that every person within the Body of Christ has a purpose and a function. The Church works at its optimal level when all of its people are committed to advancing God’s kingdom. Therefore we place a high value on serving within our church, in our local community, and in our world.
We believe in the practice of the Lord’s Supper. Once a month we dedicate a time in our services to remember sacrifice if Christ’s broken body and shed blood for the forgiveness of sin. All Christ followers are welcome to participate.
In our neighborhoods and to the ends of the earth.

Each Sunday the children at Bethel are taught about Jesus in fun and faith filled environments. Child care is offered every Sunday morning for infants and toddlers while older children have their own “Children’s Church” that takes place during the morning worship service at 11:00 AM. Children of all ages are always welcome to be with their parents in the main worship service.
Special events take place throughout the year for children including Summer Camps, Vacation Bible School and Faith and Family Nights. Check the Calendar for more specific dates.
All of our children’s workers much pass a background check. We are committed to teaching children about Jesus in a loving and safe environment.
IMPACT Youth Ministry at Bethel is committed to developing teens who have a strong commitment to Jesus Christ and are learning to live out that commitment in every area of their lives. Teens gather each Sunday morning and usually during the week on Wednesdays for faith building times of learning from God’s word, the Bible. Youth at Bethel are also challenged to step into serving roles in the church whether it be playing in the band on Sundays or serving in some other area of ministry.
Special events throughout the year include Summer Camps, Special Service Opportunities, Retreats, and Celebrate Life at Olivet Nazarene University.
